Admin/Mods Probs

While I've only been back on the site 4 a day, I still have to log in every time. Yes I check the remember box every time.
Also I'm not receiving email notification from PMs or subscribed threads. Everything in my user CP seems to be properly set up. I had this issue on only one other site. Any help would be appreciated.

how is this "admin/mods probs"? it's more related to subscription and email notification "issues", rather than a problem with an administrator or moderator.

when you log in, remember to check the "remember me" box. this should help with any log in issues.

i have checked your settings and you are not set up for automatic thread subscription. if you wish to change this setting, as it's off by default, visit your user control panel and make the change there.

now you mentioned you're not getting PM email notifications. it's possible that your email service provider is blocking the mail coming from LAMC's message board. some email providers tend to place mail from message boards into your junk or spam folders, or block them altogether, since they view them as unsolicited mail. putting "lamustangclub.com" into your sender's safe list [or whitelist] may help with that problem.

then he's probably got an issue with his browser not accepting cookies. :shrug:

maybe its his cookies. I have a program that deletes everything when i logg off the computer. Even if i check off the remember me box.. maybe he has something similar.. that program helps erase everything from your browser history.. :look:

I did go and check the instant email notif. don't know how I missed that. Everything is still the same though. Log in everytime no notifications. I'm a member on alot of boards and no gliches except here and that other dead SoCal Mustang site. If you can fix cool. If not I'll just keep loggin on.

i maintain it's a browser issue. i tested out the log in deal with IE/FF/Safari while repairing my brother's desktop and each time, that was never an issue.

now the email problem i think is tied up with your ISP. i can check a couple of things on this end, but i've been monitoring the email address i get error messages sent to and i haven't seen anything pop up yet.

just log in, and see if a cookie exists. close yer browser and then see if its still there. if its not then its on your end. i dont have a prob and i use ff, chrome, ie, safari, g1 browser on the daily.

Well I'm not sure if someone fixed something but the floodgates opened overnite and I received all the replys. Still have to login though.
