Interest in an LAMC open bracket tournament?

So I was thinking. If some of the folks here are willing to actually get their butts to the track it would be fun to set up a bracket race tournament. With it being a bracket race it doesn't matter what car they have or how modded it is, it is a drivers race.

I was thinking we give everyone till Nov 6 to make all their passes and pick their 3 qualifying runs and after that, we assemble the brackets and let the races go.

What do you all think?

Basically a "poor mans bracket" as I can almost guarantee this idea would go down in flames if we tried to really get anything organized.

Here is how it would work:

Between now and Nov 5th you would (at your leisure) go out to the Dale and make your runs. You can run it as many times as you want.

By Nov 6th you would have to post your 3 chosen timeslips in a specific thread that would be created.

After that period we will determine what time period you have to decide what day you would want to return to the Dale.
There will be someone else there from LAMC to oversee the runs you make and make sure there is no funny business and based upon that, whomever is closest to their times based upon the previous chosen 3 slip average would advance.

Make sense?

I might even be of the mind to toss in some prize for the winner.
