well a week ago today i bought my very first ford mustang. it aint no sissy ass 3.8 and it aint a pansy automatic 4r70w tranny. its a 2006 gt premium bought it used for dirt cheap. its got the 18" bullet rims the shaker 1k watt sound system, the person before me put a custom exhaust system on it and it sounds very nice not loud but really great tone to it. i'm familiar with the 4.6 mod engines as i own a tbird as well as a 96 v6 explorer. anways here's some pics

eh frankly if you have a 6 cylinder in your mustang it better be a straight 6. plus the only thing i like about v6 is when i get next to them push the clutch in a tad give it a nice little rev and keep on goin.

the tbird is very clean except the leather. its old and is cracking badly on the driver seat other then that its mint. it has a 4r70w just like the stangs did of that year. aod just like the stangs was primarily only used on 5.0's and 3.8 pushrods. 2valvers are nice but damn are they expensive.
the 3v i payed 23(19,995 before financing) after financing and it only had 20k miles. it was ford certified so all the fluids where changed new brake pads and brand new tires. the tires where huge in my eyes . nice new geforce bfgoodrich zr rated tires mmm mmmmm

I'd recommend the Roush TVS or a Whipple over the KB. The KBs are very hit or miss on quality. There are several peeps on these boards that can speak to the positive experiences they've had with Roush and Whipple blowers. Good luck mang! :uhhuh:

Welcome to LAMC.
No he didn't. We had the pleasure of installing that one for him.
Oh, and Jeff was talking about the TVS Roush blower, not the M90. Both are still available but the difference being that the TVS is the new style Eaton blower good for up to 700 ponies (stock pulley should be good for mid to high 400 at the wheels).
I would also recommend against the KB blowers. As of late we have had A LOT of issues with them.
For a twin screw style blower either Roush TVS or Whipple/Ford Racing is the way to go.

Yes it is safe on a stock block. It is mainly about the owner not getting too power hungry and it being tuned by someone that knows what the hell they are doing. As long as you can keep it under 450 to the wheels you will be fine.

i dont like centrifugal superchargers unless they are extremely cheap which they aren't.
now this roush charger how much aprox. did you charge for install. and also why did you tune it? its supposed to send in the ecu on the 2010. or use the tune it comes with?

Wrong.
Roush is one of the few companies that is DEAD ON with their tunes.
On Jacobs car we sent in the PCM along with some info on the car and they had it back to us in less than 48 hours along with the tune already on it.
Afterwards Jacob took the car to Greg and strapped it on the dyno just to see whats up and it was a DEAD ON tune.

Which Roush blower are you asking about, the M90 or the TVS?
The tuning on the M90 offers a 3 year/ 36000 mile warranty on the powertrain as long as Roush's steps are followed.
The only way to get the full warranty on the TVS is if you buy it with their shortblock assembly and that alone is about 11k.

well, generally speaking, all superchargers are inefficient cause they are belt driven...a turbo is the MOST efficient way to go....now, the main problem with positive displacement blowers (whether roots or twin screw) is heat soak....they are plagued with heat issues cuz the blower spins so fast....once u get that issue solved (which most SC manufacturers do) then u r on the way to makin big power....
