I've got an HP 3.0 pentium 4 laptop up for sale.

I JUST put a brand new 60 gig hard drive in it 2 days ago.

System comes with the charger and a 12v car adapter.

It's got a dvd/cd burner in it.

It works great, but has two problems.

1. the power cord is real loose, so it's not making good contact. the best fix would likely be to replace the module that snaps into the motherboard, if this is possible. I can get the power cord to work most of the time though...but it is an issue.

2. It randomly shuts down. I "think" it's from heat, but I can't confirm. It'll just randomly shut down completely. Because of this, I lost the operating system that I JUST installed onto the computer.....the fans are always on super high, so maybe it needs one of those cooling plates under it.

I just don't give a fuck anymore. $100 firm, including all discs that came with it, including windows xp (it's an hp copy though that belongs specifically with this laptop)

hp zd7000

will trade for a working desktop of some sort p4 at the oldest

I can give you a picture if you really want, but if you search ebay and hp zd7000 you'll get a lot of pictures.

it's a big laptop with a big 17" screen.

It's a few years old, I bought it used off my nephew.

I'd fix it, but I'm sick of fixing things...

To be honest, the random shutting off is what's the biggest issue, it's destroyed my operating system several times. I've already gotten approval from the wifey for a new computer, which is what I really want so I can run blu ray
