That was skilled training with excellent timed execution. Pacman went after him like a skilled prize fighter. I wish Hatton would have kept up and fought more rounds.

Was there any doubt Pacman would take his ass out ??

Come on... Hatton is good, but he is not nearly as fast as Pacman. And apparently speed isnt the only thing working for him... those little hands have power.

Speed AND power pretty much guaranteed a quick knockout. I had predicted pacman in 4.

Because he was "retired" and you cant just come out and go straight to the front of the line.

Plus any smart fighter knows to take a tune up fight first....

It'll be a good fight, but its not gonna be what many people will expect to see especially those who love to watch PacMan's style (which I do).

I think Mayweather is gonna come out and try to fight a very technical and tactical fight (ala SweetPea Whitaker v. De La Hoya). He will try and outbox and outscore Pacman rather than go toe to toe with him, which if he did I think he'd get in trouble pretty quickly and wind up like Hatton.

If he can get Pacman to try and box with him I think it'd go the distance with Mayweather picking up the decision.

Either way it'll be an interesting fight.

Wow you consider the fight a tune up fight :hammer:. Marquez isnt a push over, he should of had the decision over pac man

Never implied that Marquez was a push over. But what I am saying is that no smart fighter or his handlers are gonna take on a championship level fighter as his first fight back after so-called "retiring" last year. Its not gonna happen....
He's fighting someone he and his trainers know he could beat, maybe not easily, but they dont want someone in there to really have a strong chance of pulling off an upset either, because then all their plans are in the crapper for at least another year. And with Pacman still at the top of his game and saying he will be retiring after the next 2 fights Mayweather wants to make sure he gets in under the wire and gets a chance at that huge payday which come as his second to last fight. And if Mayweather has his way, Pacman's final fight will be a rematch with him. So obviously, he is angling for 2 big paydays....
Remember, Mayweather said the "passion is not there anymore" late last year and that was why he retired, or so he says.
So what do you think he is after here? $$$$$$ Nothing more.
