I was on my way home from watching the start of the Gum Ball Rally in Santa Monica. Just before the 405 to 101 interchange when I noticed a CHP car two lanes to the left staring at me. He soon pulled behind me and we went through the interchange. As soon as the barriers disappeared the lights went on and I pulled off the freeway at the next exit. The officer then proceeded to do a full felony stop. As I was turning around so they could see all the guns and knives I was carrying I noticed another officer running up with an AR-15, in addition to the two handguns already trained on myself. My dad who's in town until next week had also been watching the gumball start with me, he was directed out of the car after I was cuffed. As I was being walked back to one of the CHP cars I asked the officer that had cuffed me what I was being detained for, he did not say, searched me and then placed me in the car. I sat in the back of the car for about 25 minutes. The CHP officer came back and rolled the front windows down, and said the LAPD was on their way. Finally now, he comes back and explains that a vehicle matching the description of my SHO, (White Sedan, Black Hood) was burglarizing Santa Monica and then proceeded Eastbound on the I-10 and then Northbound on the 405 (the route I was taking home). They then came and let us out, a Sergeant apologized for the whole thing. Anywho, the joys of owning a carbon fiber hood? :dry:

The final count ended up at 5 CHP cars, 1 CHP Bike, and 2 LAPD cars. Some of them left before these pictures..
Yep, there was a news van there filming, he got there after we'd already been put in the cars though.

Pics from a SHOCal member. HAHAHAHAAHAHAH!!!:rofl:

It happens, we did that with a Silver Dodge Charger with chrome rims, the description that LAPD put out about a robbery at the 7-11 up the street from us. Saw a car that matched their description on our campus and did a felony stop on it. Turned out it wasn't the right car, but you never know.

I guess CHP and LAPD overlooked the front license plate...or the lack of one. :look:

really? Youve got some anger in your life for sure :lol: I think I'd have to be laughing my self rolling on the ground if this were to have happened to me! I'd have probably been ticked off at first, but then I bet it would have been hilarious afterwords :D

He was clearly driving a white sedan with a black hood, matching their description on the same route as described! I'd call that one heck of a coincidence, not to many cars with that combination around, let alone happening to be on the route that the burgler was supposed to have been on! I can't remember the last sedan I've seen on the road that was white with a black hood. If no plate numbers were given in the description, I'd say normally this would probably be a 95% match based on the circumstances! I think you would have probably done the same if you were in their shoes given the same circumstances. :keke: I know I probably would have!

Talk about one heck of a coincidence :-D

I've said it before....

Profiling = Police work

Yay for profiling!

And WTF do you think you're gonna do or say to get said officers sitting "behind a desk fo life"? :no:

Officers were clearly doing their job. they had a description on a suspect's vehicle and that car matched it so they made the stop. Whats the big deal?

This is what will happen.... You will be face down with Guns pointed at you... afterword you'll get an apology from a Sgt just like the poster did. You will then run along and have a nice day. You carry absolutely no weight when it comes to putting Officers behind a desk. Also... just because your mom works for LAPD (not an Officer), does not mean you know jack shit about Police work.

Absolutely no problems stopping a car with a good vehicle description like a older model white sedan with black hood.

That comeback was weak and makes u look like an e-warrior. IRL, you'd prolly end up with an officer's knee in your back and a wet spot on the front of your pants.
