If all things go smooth, a couple of hours.

If we have to deal with rinky dink all welded together exhausts, add another hour or two.

All parts are either here or almost immediately available.

I just have to put it out there as you wouldn't believe how many cars I see that have everything from the exhaust tips to the headers welded as one piece.

I want to punch babies when I see that.

Remember that fun job Superman did on my exhaust. I swear he put in like 12 hours!!!

would u suggest replacing the insert on a fidanza aluminum flywheel? i have no clue on their longevity, im guessing treat em like resurfacing a stock flywheel...

so id need:

cobra clutch kit (i have 8 bolt cobra crank and 11" cobra flywheel)
flywheel inserts
throwout bearing
exhaust gasket

u stock that stuff? and what days are ya openz?

You tell me when you want to come in and we will make it happen. Yeah, it is that easy.

Depending on what parts you want we can either get them same day or pre-order them and have them within a day or two.

The flywheel insert I would recommend to purchase as it is only about 50 bucks. It is a non-resurfacable piece so I can safely assume that it would at least need that.

I would also recommend a pilot bearing if not included in the clutch kit.

On my old 5.0, I changed my flywheel, flywheel bolts, rear main seal, pilot bearing, T/O bearing and clutch. I had also bought a clutch fork, just in case, but he old one was fine. Took about a day. I had a friend help out in lowering and installing the transmission. Its easier if you have air tools.

Then spend the money......usually $300-$500 and about 3.5 hrs. (Depending on the shop)

For the same amount, I upgraded clutch and flywheel

i already have a fidanza alum flywheel and since its an 8 bolt crank i can just use a stock 03/04 cobra clutch which will have WAAAY more than enough tq clamping power to hold my 200hp/200tq npi 96 gt. i have a centerforce DF clutch in it right now, which is like $400. why spend another $400 when theres a $250 clutch thats proven to hold 400hp?
