I bought/installed the G4985 kit Summit sells, which uses 3/8" NPT fittings and 1/2"ID hose, equivalent to a -8AN hose, which seems on the small side. After I got everything installed (of course), I noticed Summit also sells a Trans Dapt kit with 1/2" NPT fittings and unknown hose size. =/
The internatz doesn't have enough info for me to really be sure... only people that installed it and said it "works", but I don't want the heads to pop off when the VTEC kicks in, especially with my stage 3 ported VTEC solenoid
Would the 1/2"ID hose be adequate to maintain oil pressure or should I just return it to Summit and buy the Trans-Dapt one?
This is for a 4.6L 2V, to avoid any confusion :lol2:
