on screen keyboard (ehh)
video camera with direct push to youtube
transitions between windows
screen rotation
browser works a little better
font size changing
display tweaks
more widgets like weather directly on yer home screen
lock button customization (can just lock screen, home screen then lock screen, etc etc)
browser PDF capabilities
voice dial
and much much more...

no flash YET...

just a ton of nice little UI additions that were really needed. the biggest plus is that i had all my contacts, schedule, messages. etc etc all in gmail so even after a full wipe it just took a simple resync to get it all back.

+1 for rooted cupcake +apps2SD by The Dude.

apps2SD

one thing i hate about blackberries.

I'll be getting me an E71x pretty soon. full keyboard, wifi, fastest 3G network in the country :at:, GPS, symbian S60 which i've always been a fan of, BBconnect for emails, and available for Symbian is skyfire, the first mobile browser to feature full flash capabilities, including youtube streaming, music streaming from a myspace page or other online music player (sirius?) etc.

I have Skyfire for my Touch Pro. It just renders everything on their server, and then sends it to you. Opera Mobile 10, and Internet Explorer for Windows Mobile 6.5 are both supposed to have full real time flash rendering.

opera mobile is nice too. IE sucks balls no matter which platform it's on.

i was playing with a nokia 6650.... a basic flip phone with S60, downloaded skyfire. flash videos didn't go that well, probably due to the processor speed of the phone, but music was great from ANY website and hell... it beats that MEdiaNet crap

the widget is nice, but it's still a dumbphone

I'll let you know when I get home. I haven't charged my phone in a couple days. Been using PicoDrive (Genesis emulator) on it though and

id wait until tmobile launches their OTA cupcake release. otherwise its nothing more than downloading the OS, renaming it to update.zip and placing it in the root of yer SDcard. power off the phone, turn it on in update mode (hold home, hold power, wait for it to turn on) then alt-L, alt-S and wait for the update to complete.

keep in mind this terminates yer warranty since yer running hacked code on yer phone.

Ive read that its already been released by tmobile as an OTA update. Im thinking everyone will have the update in the next few days or so.

i went with the haykuro HTC build, TheDude's seemed really laggy to me.

got it working great with market, sync, everything up and running except aim (whothefuckcares) and obviously 3G, since i'm on at&t :le sad:

some of the apps they have for this phone is astounding. i'm very impressed with the operating system and even the build of the phone (even though it seems very cheap at first glance)
